Metabalance
Intuitively we all know as we go through life the important thing is to have balance.
The energy sciences can give this guidance because they are sciences of qualities and their opposites. The key is to be neither too hot nor too cold, neither too sharp nor too dull, neither too heavy nor too light etc. Amazingly as we work with these 10 pairs of opposites and observe them with mindbody functioning, they become self validating from energy science nutrition to emotions and relationships.
From a matter science view we can offer no guidelines for living in balance, save for scattered studies suggesting harmful behaviors such as sleeping patterns.
The crucial element of energy health is to try to strike a balance in all we do from nutrition, exercise, gastrointestinal function and elimination patterns, work, rest and of course awareness. All this requires us to be aware of our lifestyle choices that promote balance.
So the energy sciences offer guidelines that promote balance in life. When's the best time to go to bed; when's the best time to take the biggest meal of the day; what foods bring balance to my mindbody physiology; what's the best time to exercise; why are some relationships imbalancing and others nourishing and wholesome?
This all occurs not as a static process but as a process in the ever changing flux field we call life.
Meta- means change, so metabalance translates as "bringing about balance through the changing energy field we call life."
We begin metabalance by working on energy science nutrition and diet. This will affect change for the best and will begin restoring balance in our mindbody physiology.
