Nutrition and Feeling Life

The experience of life is not done through the mind but through the senses. Becoming aware and not distracted.

Does this sound surprising?

We live in a world where intellectualizing is "numero uno." The intellect and mind become distractions themselves.

We pride ourselves in using our minds to "figure it out" the matter science way. The whole process of the matter science technology is to measure, think about, and solve the mysteries of the biologic matter field. But I think while all of this is well and good, by making the intellect primary, we miss the valuable and healing part of life.

Because to experience life is to prevent dis-ease in the mindbody physiology. When I write "experience", I mean something very specific here. I mean to FEEL what is happeninig in the moment. This may seem difficult at first but if one simply has the intent it becomes quite easy.

This is a foreign concept for most of us living in the information age. To live "in our heads" has become tantamount to life itself. And the computer age has prompted us to intellectualize even more.

But what does it mean to feel anger or for that matter any emotion; to feel the mindbody in space with a strongly supported lower back; to feel in that space in our mindbodies called the heart that the decision to do something is the correct path; to feel that a particular food is enhancing for the mindbody.

We have all had the feeling of eating something and then not feeling well; eating too much and feeling "stuffed"; eating hot and spicy food and feeling indigestion(heartburn) and blowing it off.

I would suggest in that very moment we elect to not pay attention to the feelings that we have about how we nourish ourselves is the moment that we decide to not feel life, to not be engaged, and to go on our intellectualizing merry way.

This is the heart and soul of energy science nutrition and the contrasting difference between its spousal matter science technology of nutrition. The reason to pay attention and feel our predominant energy patterns and our nutrition with their attendant qualities of expression in our mindbodies is to become aware of life itself. And we're talking lifestyle behavior here.

This is the grandest gift of the energy science, to help us reconnect with our own energy fields.
