Hmmm…. digestive fire That sounds familiar, doesn't it? Digestive fire is a collective term for all the enzyme systems in the gut, from the mouth to the colon and it is mirrored in the tissues as well and here they are collectively all the enzyme systems in the tissues
If the digestive fire is strong in the GI tract, then foods that are imbalancing are rendered to fine ash so to speak In the same way, if the digestive fire in the tissues is strong, then the imbalancing effects of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha energy patterns is passed along to the next tissue layer If all the tissue layers are strong then the energy pattern returns to the GI tract to be released
From an energy science view, by keeping a strong, rich GI digestive fire, we foster and nourish strong, rich tissue enzyme systems as well
