The Sweet Spot

In the energy science of healing we speak in terms of balance when it comes to health, not whether the molecules(vitamin D, PSA, cholesterol) are correct in quantity

So this concept of balance implies as we are walking on this balance beam of life that we reach this point of equilibrium, a sweet spot you might say

We have all experienced  the concept of sweet spot  All things in life are moving along as we feel they should

And holding that sweet spot implies that we hover in that place of balance

How can we hold onto it?

            Honor the biological rythms  Go to bed early and get up early; eat the biggest meal of the day at noon; take time for silencing the physiology at least once every day(increase the parasympathetic and reduce the sympathetic load on the physiology)

            Avoid poor food combining

            Be attentive to digestive fire to improve the health of the GI tract

            Nourish and foster healthy relationships

            Monitor for debilitating self talk(why do I have so many problems? – nobody else does; I can't do this; I'm angry; blaming others for problems)

            Experience gratitude for all the good things in your life

Believe it or not, these above activities nourish and keep you in the sweet spot – a state of balance

The value of maintaining the self in this zone is that it establishes the physiology in a state of equanimity

Equanimity allows for no reaction, a simple witnessing without damaging reaction  Stress comes from the reaction  When there's no reaction there's no stress  The event no matter how catastrophic does not affect the physiology very much

That's the sweet spot! 

And how sweet it is
